About the Journal

The Proceedings of the International Conference on Bio-Science and Sustainable Development Goals (ICB-SDGs) is an open-access publication series dedicated to disseminating high-quality research and innovative findings presented at the ICB-SDGs annual conference.

This publication is a collaborative initiative between Yayasan Insanul Faqih Gemilang and Yayasan Citra Dharma Cindekia, aimed at providing a global platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to address the critical intersections of biological sciences and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Focus and Scope

The journal publishes original research, reviews, and case studies that contribute to the advancement of life sciences and their application in achieving a sustainable future. The scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fundamental & Applied Biology: Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, and Molecular Biology.

  • Health & Biomedical Sciences: Public health initiatives, pharmacology, and community empowerment through health research.

  • Sustainable Agriculture & Environment: Biodiversity conservation, bioengineering, green technology, and agri-food systems.

  • Educational Innovation: Strategic integration of bio-science into primary, secondary, and higher education curricula to foster environmental literacy.

Peer Review Process

To maintain the highest standards of scientific integrity, all submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent experts in the field. The editorial board, composed of specialists from both collaborating foundations and international partners, ensures that only work of significant merit and relevance is accepted for publication.

Ethical Statement

ICB-SDGs is committed to uncompromising ethical standards in publishing. We strictly adhere to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We implement proactive measures to prevent misconduct, including:

  • Mandatory plagiarism screening using iThenticate.

  • Requirement for AI-use disclosure in manuscript preparation.

  • Strict policies on conflict of interest and informed consent for research involving human or animal subjects.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. By removing barriers to access, we aim to maximize the visibility and impact of the research conducted by our contributors worldwide.
